Thread: Out of curiousity
I am seeing a lot of medics randomly trying different combinations of resources to find an ideal pairing of organic/inorganic. It doesn't work like that.
Resources have statistics such as "Flavor" and"Overall Quality" when you examine them. Schematics list which statistics are important for a particular stim/medpack. And resources gradually deplete over time, eventually replenishing with new names and new stats.
Overall Quality is the most important stat for most organic schematics. So you want to start by finding OQ in the 800s, 900s, etc. Even 600s, 700s are OK. But those dud stimpacks that heal for 70 every time are probably made from OQ 200 organics.
That said, I usually look for a metal or ore as my inorganic and greens or berries as my organic. There are always bad varieties, but there is usually one very good variety of each.
And experimentation is important on B+ stims/medpacks. At first that meansstanding neara public food & chemical crafting station while you craft, so that the experimentation options pop up at the end of the crafting process. Just saying this because I met someone who thought "experiment" meant trying random resources to find a sweet combination
