Thread: Unreal...
I need to know if I am doing something wrong.
I found an area with 90%+ resources, three days later the resource doesn't even show on my survey device in that area. So I spend HOURS making stims for little experience and then blow through 200+ of them to get 5k medical exp.
Am I doing something wrong?
I made 20+ stacks of Stim(A)s and then spent twice that amount of time harvesting for the stuff needed for Stim(B)s and make 10 of those. After going through all 30 stacks of the two I finally made enough exp for FA II and Diag II.
In my first two days as an artisan on Starsider I made Engineering IV and Surveying IV as well as Organic Chem III. But as a medic on Chilastra it is taking FOREVER to level up. There seems to be a real issue with the exp for each class. Scout and Medic seem to be the worst for gaining exp. For scout you have to kill things in order to harvest but then it gets a bit easier with mask scent. But with medic... You get 25% of the heal as exp and can do it often if your healing damage and twice the heal if your doing wounds but far less often (sucks mind pool way too fast).
Harvesting a single pool's worth gets me around 100-125 resources if I can find a 80-95% resource. That means that for every two full harvests (one organic, one inorganic) I get 15 Stim(A)s roughly. Approx 35 exp per stim used times 10 stims per stack means that (in theory) I should get 5250 exp for one round of harvesting both.
Yet for some reason I have to go through 20 stacks of stims to get that amount of exp, which means that I need to harvest approx twice the amount with failures. I just cannot figure out what I am doing wrong or if this class just got pooched on the way it makes exp.
Please let me know.
