hey there. just thought you guys should be aware of a problem i noticed.

i am a novice combat medic. i have a 2-1b surgical droid equipped with a lvl 2 medical module and a food/chem crafting station. ( might have more stuff in it but thats all the de that sold it to me told me about). it is listed as having a 45 medical capablity rating.

well anyways, normally i heal for anywhere from 150 to 600 with Small stimpacks -C. tonight when i got home from work i made adozen class C packs and proceeded to go heal the dancers in the cantina.

after 3 or 4 packs i whipped out my droid to start making some health poison packs. and as i was healing people i noticed i was only healing from. after burning thru 1 pack thinking maybe i had a class A that i had missnamed. in the middle of the second pack still healing for 80-175 i stored the droid and my heals immediately jumped back up to the normal 150-600 range. call the droid again and the heals dropped off to 80-200.

i also tried this with my mouse droid also with a 45 medical capability rating with the same results.

neither droid lets me heal wounds in cantinas, altho i can use it to heal wounds in the middle of a battleground, or anywhere else ive tried it.

all in all i should probly have just bought a protobot with a food/chem unit. as these medical droids currently are extremely broken.

heres hoping they fix this stuff.

Yes right now the med droids are taking precidence over higher medical usage. For instance Damage healing should use your own healing abilities 99% (I'm not sure why damage healing could ever be better than you). Currently your med droids are messing up ALL healing when out. So keep em stored whenever possible.

the 45% of med center is intentional on woundpacks...

they should not be affecting stims at all.

I was just wondering what was going on. I was using small health wound pack A , i know shouldn't heal for much, but i couldn't get higher then a 4. Then i read this post, put up the mouse droid with medical module, first heal was afor 18

I'm a novice medic/DE. In the last big patch, the med modules were "fixed" to reflect the quality of the module installed. I don't remember what all the modifiers are off the top of my head, I know that the level1 modules I can currently build just plummeted from 100% effective (like being in a medlab) to somewhere around 15%. This was intended to differentiate between a good medical bot and a crappy one. Unfortunately for people who bought droids with lower-level modules in them, the effectivness they're used to was butchered in the last "fix".. You can thank SOE for that next time you see them.. hehe.. I know I will, especially since it's only like 509 million xp to level6 droid medical modules. bleh!
