Thread: This is what to expect if you want to be paid for healing

I don't think I was wrong asking to be paid to heal. After all, it is a service.
I should just heal for free because I get XP, and forget about all the resources that are required.
If that was the case then artisans should give away free structures because they get XP for making it.
As for me, I need the xp, So I will heal anyone, anytime. But I really hope that people understand that I also pay for healing them, so they tip me. For the most part, I break about even when Im healing, so it works ok for me.

If they want to be healed, we should charge. 1 credit per wound point. all in advance. No more freebies.
this is bull. if the marksmen and brawlers of the galaxy can make sooo much money with their silly little destroy missions, they should pay for healing. from now on, it's gonna cost. I've been stiffed one too many times. hey, i make money doing faction missions as well.
Either i'm gonna get xp AND money for healing an individual.
Or i'm gonna getxp AND money for running faction missions, because you can exchange faction points for xp.
The only difference between these is whether or not the marksmen and brawlers of the world get any healing....

Well I had stopped my healing sessions in hospital because I was going broke making meds and using them for free. I now make excelent meds for personal and group use durring missions. I must admit that I am enjoying the game MORE now as I am out in the world hunting, running theme parks, and only have 2 planets left to visit. I mention this as this is not a boo-hoo game post.
I had stopped by a med center to heal a friend today. While there a character was in the med center ranting how he had waited 15 minutes and should be healed first. I answered that all the medics/doctors have moved on as no one pays. He responded with the same old "I always tip, my wounds are not bad, blah.." So I went against my better judgement and healed this woookie BEFORE I healed my friend. He had about 150 misc damage. He tipped me 25cr!
I say: That does not even cover the cost of meds (had 5 areas with damamge)
He say: cry me a river
I say: Well YOU were the one complaining about the wait and lack of medics, think it through.
He say: Cry me a river again!
I now have my first guy on my ignore list. And am now going to ask for 3 cr per damage point PLUS 100cr if they have any mind damage/bf. The point? people will say that is too much, to them I say, well wait until another medic comes around. But if any one on (Skylla)Naboo/Corellia wants a novice Doc with great stim c's etc for a hunting/Rebel oriented trip send me a tell.

PS I like the line about go to the medic trainer, make your own wound packs and have at it!!
