I have first aid 4 and diagnostics 4 and rely on chain healing myself sometimes to tank imps while i solo.

I use 300+ heal Bs and 410 heal Bs. While healing for 1000+ with the 400s is nice, i still heal for in the 300s sometimes. Just recently i healed myself 3 times in a row with the 300+ Bs for only 300 damage each time. Sometimes i only get 200+ damage with a heal (thats less then the stim specifies!). I'm wondering if the first aidtree is even worth it seing as i still get the crappy heals even with killer stims.

It is a matter of opinion. I would say it is very worth it. Sometimes you'll get low heals, other times you'll get high ones, but your average is going to be higher than if you didn't have first aid. If you picked first aid over pharm, then it is probably opinion as to if you made a mistake or not.

You spec incorrect...

first of all, diagnosis only speeds up healing others...it does NOT effect self healing so congrats , you've wasted a skill tree...

what u want is Pharm IV and FA IV...

pharm IV and FA 1 will heal much more and more consistantly with stim Ds then you will with FA IV and no pharm and even advanced Stim Bs...

so respec to FA 4 and Pharm 4 and use med use 40 stim Ds
