Thread: Which skills?
I would like to do some incombat healing. However I don't have many points left. So I'm trying to figure out the best bang for my points. Does First Aid give anything worth while?(Since I can use stim B's at Novice) I know the stop bleed is at FAII, but what about beyond that?
How about Diag? Speed seems to be more important than Healing ability, whatever that is.
FYI, I will buy all of my stims.
Get FA as high as you can..then if you can try to get ur pharm to at least lvl 3
you might wanna even lower FA a bit to get pharm 3
pharm 3 will allow u to use stim Cs that have been experimented down for easier use. They are a huge improvement over Bs IMHO. the increases of speed from diagnostics is minimal and only effects heals on others and not yourself...
I suggest FA and Pharm..but if u can only get Pharm II dont bother with Pharm at all and stick with Bs
I am sure this has been asked here before, but I could not find a good summary on search. Which elements of the skill tree shouuld one pursue first. Obviously Organic Chem. had a separate mechanism for experience, so i am not really talking about that, but among First Aid, Diagnostics and Pharmacology which ones should you choose first. I have level 2 in each of these atm and am almost ready to get level 3 in one of them. As I understand it First Aid increases the amount of points you heal with each attempt. Diagnostics increases speed, but apparently not very much and not when you heal yourself....not much help really when this is a sideline. I dont have a clue what Pharmacology does. The guide says that it helps in a number of ways, but is not very explicit.
Sounds to me like First Aid, Pharmacology and then Diagnostics. Would I be better off to max one of them before bringing up the others, or should I bring them up together. Thanks.

Actually, pharmacology increases your medicine use skill.
You need this to use better meds (Stim-C for example).
Better meds = bigger heals = more xp.
