I need to know the answer on this question . when is right to refuse healing of a player ?

Im a Medic working on getting to doctor . When I was the only medic in a med center on naboo when a good amount people came in. Now many help those who are the worst off first . I go with who was the first in gets the first treatment . I feel its fair in that ,

Well when I was pathcing up a rather wounded wookie some guy start yelling at me that i should heal him . I answed have a seat and i work on you when im finsished with the peron i was with .

Next thing i know he cursing and complaining that he needed to be healed first . I in truth ignored him on it and kept working on the people who where there first .

It got so bad i finally just left after if fixed the last lady that was before him Did i do the right thing or was that rude of me ?

You have the right to refuse service to anyone you please. Only you can determine if it was justified... I would have actually put that person on ignore, and never ever healed him again.

It would have been wrong of you TO HEAL HIM. You did the right thing. I hate people who think everyone else plays this game to serve them.

Management reserves the right to refuse service at anytime.

I live by that motto. You want to be an @$$hole, then you can get someone else to heal you, because I won't touch you with a 10 foot pole.

It depends... assuming you role-play, what kind of doctor are you? One who heals anything that is hurt? One who takes sides? One who heals anybody, regardless of personal feelings, because you know that's what a doctor has sworn to do? One who trades healing for favors, in a **edit**-for-tat mode, to get rich/powerful?

There's no right way to play a doctor; it all depends on what kind of doctor your character is.

If you don't role-play; sure, ignore him and don't heal him. Or ignore him and heal him, to get XP.

Heal him, hell no I wouldnt heal him. Anyone who walks in and demands to be healed regardless of anyone else in line gets iggy, no questions, no 2nd chance. I hate jerks who think THEY are the only player in the game, and everyone severs at their leasure. Well, tell him that not only Wont you heal him, but you are ignoring him to boot, so he can yell and rail to anyone he wants, or find a sucker to do his bidding. Then explain to the others, that, though you dont Want to ignore people, you will NOT be used as a tool, by anyone. It's time people understand that Medics and Entertainers are people, and Not a freaking NPC.

So, jerks, Take notice, Yelling at someone that has the ability to Not do what you want, is about the dumbest thing you can do, IF you want to get healed, try being nice. And, Dont say, "But, I'm roleplaying a badass, and Have to be a jerk" Well, all I can say is John Weasly Hardin didnt walk up to the dentist and demand he pull a tooth, he asked, then when the dentist pulled the wrong one, JWH killed him, Thats a badass, not being a lame jerk.

I agree with the other comments here....defintely alright to refuse healing to someone who is rude.

There is one other situation that I would refuse to heal someone, and that is healing an overt when there is fighting going on in the med center.

Don't ever feel bad about not healing someone. The only time you should feel obligated to heal someone is if you told them you would. That guy was being rude and I would not have healed him or I would have charged him a huge amount of credits, up front cash of course. But yeah, if the med center is getting to hostile, definitely leave, I always do. You are playing the game to have fun and it isn't fun if people are yelling at you (occasional role playing stuff aside).

I wouldn't have healed him either. It would be like you running up to him while he was fighting and asking him to kill the mob that's chasing you and then calling him names for not doing it.

There are certain people who come in with absolutely no HAM left who do wait thier turn, I also heal on a first come first serve basis, but don't even say thanks when you are done with them, let alone tip. I make a little note and when I see them come in, they don't get healed by me. There is one person in particular who comes all the time with no HAM and has a pet that has no HAM. I have seen him come in, get himself healed, then he leaves his pet in the med center so someone can heal him too. I too will not heal selfish people who sit there and yell because they have wounds and think they neeed to be healed right now.

When you don't want to. End of story.
