Ok so i cannot decide, ive been a master medic for a long while and i am about half way up the combat medic profession and also about halfway up the doctor profession tree, but now im completely out of points and i cant deicide which one to forget and which one to keep!

Doctor: i love the buffs ALOT, buffing myself with my enhance c's and b's makes me near unstoppable, i can imagine how a master doctors buffs can make you even more difficult to kill.

Combat Medic: i love poisons alot, and diseases, they are a awsome tool of dmg plus ranged and area effect heals are definently life savers in group combat in pvp and pve.

I cannot decide which one i like better, poisons/dieseases/ranged heals/area heals or huge long lasting buffs/huge heals/huge wound heals/poison cure (makes fighting a cm easy)/disease cure (makes fighting a cm easy)

/cry i have been trying to decide for forever, i currently have enough healing xp to probably go up 2-3 boxes in either doc or cm when or if i do decide,

I was considering having both, but i dont know if that is a good plan because then i would only be able to get specialist in a combat profession which makes me pretty crappy at combat..

CM/Doc should be a choice that works if you are heavily into group combat. Since bieing a medic in a group environment slows down the combat xp in ay case.

If you are into trying to solo, then you have a tough choice. If you solo much you have no use for ranged stims, but good use for powerful stims, and disease/poison.

As a doc enhancments are the key, as you can't revive yourself.

I feel for you, man. It's a tough choice, I'm almost there myself. I think I'm going for doctor though, kinda leans that way.

Hmm maybe ill go for both, but im wondering if the poison/disease from combat medic, and the buffs from doctor would make up for the lack of pistol skill (since it takes alot of points to get both i would only be able to get pistol specialist)

combat medic poisons make up for lack of pistol skills. If you land the mind poisons, at 500 mind damage a tick, your enemy is down in less than 15 seconds. I've rarely seen any combat medic even shoot at another person. Most often, they sprint in, apply the poison and watch the person die.

Combat medic is great for solo PvP, at least until they change the poison damage or the way poisons work. Doctors are great for grouping and PvE as their buffs are awesome, and revive is a great way to keep a group going when they are far from a cloning center.

One idea I had was to just go up the tree's that give me better med use in each field. Then I could get my CM friend to make schematics for poisons for me and a Doctor friend to make buff schematics. Bets of both worlds. Of course if you don't have a CM friend and Doctor friend you can always get creative with getting skills and forfeiting.
