Heya guys... I'm mainly taking medic to supplement my sword/rifle skill, and i'm very low on points as it is =/

so i'm just wondering how much first aid helps.. like will first aid IV triple the heal? or at least double? or how does it work exactly? if it only adds 50% to heal, then i most likely won't be getting it.. can't afford the points.. I have up to III now and have the XP to get IV.. just not sure on it.

and what about diagnostic and pharm? i read that pharm IV is needed for stim C, but u don't need any for stim Bs (which i intend to use)... as for organic chem, i've got a steady stimpack supplier, so i dont' think i'm gonna need that.

not sure on diagnostic.. heard it doesn't speed up heal on yourself.

anyt tips would be great =)

Fro mt he stats on the bottom left of the screen pop up tooltip:

Injury treatment is a direct percentage.

So a +50 Injury treatment = +50% on the base heal of the pack.

A 100 damage packs becomes base 150, a 200 pack becomes a 300 pack.

This is stil laffected by a 'random roll' though, and may vary a lot. Overall, the higehr this skil lthe bigger your heal will be, though big percentages on small packs is negligable (+50% on a 75 pt. stim A is only 37.5 points.)

First aid is worth it just for the /firstaid skill to stop bleeds. Especially in PvP where people like to kite with bleeds. If I remember correctly, you get that at first aid 2.
