I heal people around towns when they need it to get medical xp. The other night I was headed towards the starport and saw a bounty hunter slugging it out with an NPC. He was pretty badly beaten up, so I went and healed him. Immediately the mark NPC started attacking me. The BH ran away and I ended up getting db'd. D'oh. Moral of the story, don't heal a bounty hunter who is on a mission, you'll get a TEF that allows the mark to attack you.

It's not really limited to bounty hunters. Sometimes I find incapacitated people lying around, heal them, then watch as the animals that brought him/her down proceed to attack me. I like how animals are intelligent enough to attack the healers. At least warning shot works on them.

Nice of that BH to run away on you, though. Nothing like a little heroism to repay you for your healing, heheh.
