I just cant figure this out.

I have a Trandoshan trained in Novice Medic. I have the Generic Crafting Tool. I have the Stimpak Schematic in my Data Pad.

I open the tool and I cant get the Stimpak Scematic option to choose. I just get the Generic tab and can make the Scout traps, camps, and darts. I can make the tool box thing for medical skills, but no liquid suspension, no stim pak, no nothing chemical.

I have stood in front of the public crafting stations and opened my tool, and nothing.

What am I doing wrong? Is it my race? Am I at the wrong stations? I am confused..please help.

I know...I said it was a really noob question.

Perhaps the chemical tab is off the screen to the left? I had to 'scroll' the tabs to the right to see the leftmost one at some point when crafting.. .I don't remember if it was the medic one.

just get a chem/food tool..ull need one anyways...

general tool have too much junk in it anyways...

besides u cant experiment with a gen tool

Thank you for the help. I just had to make the 2nd tool that was in the first tool to gain access to the stimpak recipe.
