Thread: animals in the clinic
I agree that it is a little annoying. However the hospitals are on tatooine are like third world medical huts. They're dirty, smelly, and covered in Bantha Pudu.
My biggest complaint with creatures in a hospital is that it's hard to find and target people with you have a big rancor butt in your face
(WTB /target command)

Now I am not trying to complain to bad here, but it has gotten very annoying lately trying to heal when some one has the baby rancoor out and running around in the hospital. I am happy for you that you made CH and you should be proud of yourself. We run a hospital not a vet clinic. Please do us all a favor and keeps your animals away why we are busy healing YOU, and everyone else is the clinic. Just one more concern that I have as a medic is fighting going on in the hospital this is another bad distraction. I would like to see the DEV's do something about this if we can. Thank you for lending me your ears, and Yaaa I finally made master medic tonight ..I have changed my profession 3 times since I have started. Now instead of being a killer I am a healer. Also, are the DEV's letting us make our "own" hospitals ?? or is that what our housing is for then I dunno just a question. Anyways I have rambled on long enough. Great game, Having a great time.

Hello kden,
Well the request can be made that they put they're pet away. If you get dissed at and your the only healer around, than the best bet is to diss them back by refusing to heal them. If they're other healers there than your basically stuck putting up with the pet in the med center. I find this aweful similar is the discussion about unholstered weapons in a cantina type of deal, although sometimes i do get annoyed when 2 players duel each other insider a hospital.
Perhaps start to make certain buildings have a force field where a player can not take a pet, draw a weapon, or duel. This can be extended especially to player homes or structures, and may be requested by players when the PAC feature fully arrives to SWG. Maybe so not to force it upon all players, have this be a toggled feature in player structures, and for the Npc cities well perhaps that can stay as a free for all until the devs decide otherwise by popular demand.
to easily exploitable...
i run out shoot a bleed or a dot run inside the med center
Hello Elenora,
True if you in duel mode, so if you shoot the bleed ot DOT it only effects your opponent. But, like i said if your in med center you can't start a duel, and if your in an existing duel you shouldn't be able to run into the med center either. So if your in a combat mode with a overt factional player or in a PvE fight with an npc you couldn't enter the med center either.
Although that doesn't prohibit a healer from coming outside to help out a player in need.
I haven't seen animals in clinic in game yet,but yesteday in the ER a guy wanted me to suture his head while he was holding his mean-looking little white rat....ehm...dog!
I would be glad to avoid this in-game! ![]()
A friend came up to me with a rancor that had over 2/3 wound damage on H and A. The challenge was fun, and I got around 34k med experience for it.
So now I think pets are OK if they need heals. I don't mind being a veterinarian sometimes!

Hello All,
Latest news in the next patch "Bio-Engineers" will be the vets for pets. Hmm, "Vets for Pets" that rhymes, hehe.
The BE (Bio-Enginners) will have stim and med packs for them.
He is right about it. CHers complained that they did not want to have to be medics to heal so it got changed. It was posted in the Creature handler forum.
As for why people take out thier pets as a doctor/CHer myself. Pets do not heal while in thier pokeball so you have to remove them, so while I am waiting and do other stuff in town I always remove my mind damaged pets to let them heal.
