Thread: Injury treatment speed and the new patch?

My understanding of the Diagnostics tree is that it reduces the time between heals of Health and Action when you are healing others.

I had heard that this time reduction would apply to self-heals after the mount/city patch... has anyone noticed a difference?

Also, what is the scale/metric for each point of injury treatment speed, i.e. what is the difference in heal frequency between none in Diagnostics and Diagnostics 1, 2, 3, or 4?

Thank you for sharing what you know.

Depends on what you mean by Heal. If you mean healing damage, yep you should see the reduction. I don;t remember the exact times but with no diagnostics your delay should be around 10 seconds before you can stim again. At 4 (or maybe it's Master Medic, been a while) it should go down to about only 3 seconds.

Now if you are talking about healing wounds, Diag makes no difference. You'd need the Wound Treatment Speed line in Doctor for that.

Was there a change to this scheduled for this patch? I think I heal the same speed as I did before (2 second delay, with +4 Injury Treatment Speed gloves).

Actually most of it was hotfixed in beforre the publish. Primarily the change was that in some cases your Diag rating was not being checked. So if you simmed yourself, for example, you would have to wait the full 10 seconds before stimming someone else. Same with all the cure states as well. In other cases, like stimming someone else, it would work just fine. It should be fixed for all situations now.

Yup, works great on yourself now. I used a few Stim C's on myself this morning and though I couldnt give you how long between heals I had to wait... it wasnt more then 3 or so seconds.

There are still lag issues, but yeah, it now affects yourself, where it did not before.
