Thread: 33 Skill points.....
Hello,
I do not post often but themedic community seems friendly and helpful so here goes... I have read many threads and am still a bit confused. I will have a total of 33 skill pints to spend on medic. I want to play PVE and PVP. I have read that I should either go 4-1-1-0 or 1-1-4-0. I have also read that FA 3 and Pharm 3 are the way to go. I went to the Character builder and also saw that I could go 3-0-3-0 with 33 points.
My questions are as follows...Why do people train the one point in Diagnostics? (The 4-1-1-0 or 1-1-4-0 builds). Should I go with4-1-1-0 or 1-1-4-0 or maybe 3-0-3-0 or something different?
Any help and or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to the medical community.
One more thing I forgot to mention which may help.....
I primarily solo so the medic skills I train will be used to heal myself mostly.
Thanks again.
I've long had medic skills to aid in my soloing, mostly at 4-3-3-0. Use powerful stim-c's that one shot heal me for 1k health (but can go as low as 450). Recently dropped to 3-3-3-0 and noticed a 200 hp loss in my heals on average.
SO... to use really good stim b's, all you need is 15 points as a novice medic. Thats the bare minimum, and you can do decent heals to yourself. However, you will be slow in combat heals. To use stim-Cs, you need at least 0-0-3-0 (30 med use i believe). Still slow to heal in combat, but post-combat its fine since you don't need fast heals.
I personally recommend- if you can spend the points- 4-3-3-0. It was my favorite medic build and good during combat. If not, then I would go 1-1-3-0 (for stim-cs) and then boost the speed line, or just stick with novice medic (15 points) if you want mainly heals after combat.
