Im new to medic can anyone tell me what the customs are for cantina healing? I go in them alot and want to heal the Ents but there always seems to be someone there doing it already. Is it the same as KS to heal an entertainer, when someone else is in the place doing it already?

LOL! You're just like me! We both play too much EQ. (5-year EQ Vet here.... the only one to see Unrestwith 100 people-- CURSE PALUDAL CAVERNS!)

The truth is, in SWG, there is no such thing as KSing or ninjalooting. There just isn't room in the game for it.Go in, and start healing those entertainers! The medic andentertainersmay even be glad that you're there.

You'll be sure to know if someone is 'grinding' xp cuz they'll tell you right after you pop your first heal.

However, for the most part, medical personnel tend to heal the entertainers that are in turn healing them. So, most of the time, it's just a thanks-healing. I don't think anyone minds if you also do so.

If you are grinding, please use /tenddamage and /watch /listen... Entertaienr healing XP is hard to come by, compared to dance and music XP.

Yeah, it doesn't.

I didn't mean every time... it is a fairness thing.

They are giving you XP, you might wanna give them some hard to earn XP too (worse to get then our crafting XP).

People do complain about medics rushing into cantinas, fighting with each other to heal dancers / musicians and treating Entertainers like XP vending machines, while not proposing to help the entertainers in return (or even sometimes even talking to the entertainers).

You'll notice this thread never mentions the Entertainer.. just the other medics, as someone for consideration.

This is something you can do for them.

Well, I did my first cantina work last night... I had some bad wounds so I had to stop by and I figured I would work the cantina for a while since I was there.... Well, as a MCM it was cooool. Throwing a area stim and watching the system spam was awesome

As a MCM I kept looking for ppl who had mind damage and would heal their damage, with the /healmind damage (This is a CM skill not Medic). I would take a lot of wounds (Thus the reason that it is not very usefull out in the field), that way they would get their xp and I was getting mine.

For those of you reading this that don't know. Tehre are 2 kinds of entertainer XP and a healing XP.

Dancer and Music XP are given for playing, florishing, and get multiplied if people watch/listen.

Entertainers can get this XP is nobody is in the cantina.. People help, and lots of people help a lot...

However, they ahve 1 branch each, that requires entertainer healing XP. Any dancer or musician Entertainer wanting to master Entertainer, or to go on to Musician or Dancer professions has to fill this healing branch.

It is a major grind, and they only get this xp when they are healing people.

Cantina medics should really consider helping them out with this while you are there. Yeah, you'll XP a little slower.

Yes, /tenddamage is a nice way to earn them healing exp, as it causes you mind wounds in the process. Sort of an infinite power loop

I'd say group with the entertainers so you can view their bars easily. Take turns etc.

If you're on at night and find a nearly empty cantina with 2-3 AFK dancers/musicians, then you're all set. I've gone through almost all of the healing portion of the medic tree by that method.
