Running through the list I can't even remember the last time I had this problem (listed below). Is anyone out there really still having problems with this? It seems to get votes which is why I am wondering.
5.Incapacitated Player Location Problems
Incapped players seem to always change location from where they, apparently, dropped down, even when you are on follow. As such the player who may not have moved since the last time you were close enough to heal them just a few seconds ago, is somehow no longer within healing range, even if they look like they are at your feet. Workarounds have included using the /dragIncapacitatedPlayer command to get them to you, but sometimes the location is so screwed up that even though the player appears to be at your character's feet, they are still outside of the 20m drag range. A possible solution is using the same location algorithm for locating the "body" that heals were using on the live player (where the player WAS close enough) when they are incapped and allow the /follow command to actually work on incapped players and corpses to get us close enough to them to perform the required heal function.

Tested it on live 2 days ago (cave outside of Kor Vella). Still busted.

So does it only seem to be happening in caves, then? I don't have anything listed there about caves and I'm often doing drags outside with few problems... then again I might have had some not too long ago on a steep incline....

There seems to be 2 versions. sever boundary problems... and some kind of polygon problem... Caves are very irregular and pathing is also screwed up in them... "can't see that from ehre" kinda stuff for things next to you. Step over a line on the floor and suddenly it works... Same with some doorways in buildings and dungeons.

I normally can't drag someone from inside a cave to the outside, but I can drag them around inside. That's I guess what Traigus also refers to. I'm sure there's lots of weird places you can't drag at or drag across. Clone centers I think might be another.
Also apparently the vertical drag limit is much less than 30m. Or it could be I'm misreading that somehow.
Heh I like to drag players about at times.
