I was just wondering about the "Organic Chemistry" tree and what the best way for a Novice Medic to go from 'Organic Chemistry I' to 'Organic Chemistry IV' is. I was wondering where I can get the resources (on the Corbantis server, if that makes a difference) to make things such as stim packs, etc.

I did read the Guide at the top of the page and the FAQ, and neither of them help very much, as I don't yet know what some of the terms mean. I just need a small broken down explanation on where I can gather resources, how I can gather resources, or where I can buy resources. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To buy resources, there are a variety of ways of varying annoyance levels (both to you and to those around you). You can stand in a major city and shout words to the effect of "looking to buy these resources...".Try not to spam too much (once every 5 or 10 minutes is more than enough). A more... friendly way to to look for a shop. You can run around and look for stores (in player's houses, or city malls). You can also push ctrl-v, and look up resource vendors and go there directly. Keep in mind though that for both of these, the amount of resources to get from organic chemistry 3 to 4 is relatively small (only a few thousand I believe), and don't be surprised if people don't want to "waste their time" with you.

To gather resources, you can probably find better informationin the artisan's forum. Also, when youfirst learn novice artisan, a helpful (some would say annoying)droid appears to help you through the process.

To summarize it though, you need to learn novice artisan, the somehow get a survey device for what you are looking for. Then use the device to start /survey'ing, the larger the percentage concentration the better. Then you can start /sampling resources.

To speed it up, you can also buya harvester, although those you need to supply with credits for maintainance and power. (Power is just like every other resource, acquired the same way, except for wind and solar power you can't sample it but their harvester's don't need power themselves.)
