I'm thinking of giving up Novice Scout to take Novice Medic. But my question is can I use any stim pack at novice medic or do I need skills to use Stim Pack D for example ?

Stimpacks have a Medical Use rating. Novices can use anything with a rating of 5. As you progress up the Pharmacology branch your Medical Use rating will increase.
I believe the highest stimpack you can use with a 5 rating is a Stim-B.

Probably still Stim-Bs.
With Stim-Cs you can experiment down the Skill Use requirements but I'm not certain how far.

The lowest usage I have got out of Stim C's is 31. I'm not even a Master Medic, yet, though, but I don't think you can get it down to 5.
Anyone gotten the usage down to below 30?

Yes, most Sim C's that you see on the market will be below 30. Though you have to check to be sure. So, in order to use a stim C, you would need to get your pharm to III. If you have the points to do this then great, if not then stick with Stim B's and get any FirstAid that you can.
