Thread: Healing Question.
I won't go into details how I got to this point. I'm only dabbling in Medic. I will have to surrender these skills later on in my career. For right now it helps though.
It took me 5x the resources to make Stimpack B's over A's. A's were healing for 80-120. My first 3 tries with a B, I didn't heal over 90. Hmmm....
How can I increase the healing rate with my stimpacks w/o going too deep into medic skills?
I was thinking simply taking pharmacology, but I'd rather hear facts than my own speculation on this.

1) Use resources with high Overall Quality (900+)
2) Craft in a Food & Chemical Crafting tool while standing next to a Food & Chemical Crafting station to bring up the Experimentation option. Pump your experimentation points into Effectiveness.
ok my character has 4 ranks in pharmacutical use.i can use stim Ds.now my question is would i be able to heal more damage if i dropped the 4th rank in Pharm and picked up 2 ranks in first aid?i would be able to use stim Cs at that point.
any help would be appreciated
thanks
Pharm 3 gives you medicine use 30, so you would only be able to use Stim C's that have had their medicine use experimented down to 30. If you have a good Stim supplier you can normally ask them to make you a few as an order.

lets look at it mathmatically -
Using a StimD with, say, 600 heal base, with no first aid skill, you will be able to heal:
1.05 x 600 = 630 heal (1.05 comes from the fact that you get +5 injury treatment at novice)
If you had a StimC with, say 475 heal base, and first aid III, you will be able to heal:
1.35 x 475 = 641 heal (1.35 comes from the fact that you get +35 injury treatment at FA II)
plus, you will be able to stop bleeding with the /applyfirstaid skill, which can be really helpfull.
