Thread: noob medic needs help please

You don't get xp for using /tenddamage.

I was told that I should gain medical experience by both /tendwound and /tenddamage. /tend would works but i never get any exp using /tenddamage. Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong..thank you.

TwilightScout speaks wisely. Should possibly be added that the /tend commands are great in emergency situations, but the mind damage is way too high for these to be used on anything more than an occasionaly basis.

[An exception, of course, is when you're trying to max out your mind damage to help a mate grind entertainer healing xp (they get xp points for each point of mind-damage they heal, as I understand it). You can get some xp here, too, by healing them with /healdamage, using /tenddamage every 3-4 turns to purposefully drain your mind pool. Dull as ditchwater, though.]

Way back when I first started as a medic (and the game) I would use /tendwound to heal peoples secondary wounds. Since I was at the medical center it wasnt a big deal. After an hour of healing, I would head over the the cantina for a bit and get healed up... rinse and repeat (about a billion times).
