Thread: What determines the mind cost for a heal?

I'm curious about what determines the mind cost for healing. Does the type of medicine play in? Or amount of health/action healed? I've noticed that in 3-0-3-0 medic I often end up overhealing and I wonder if that implies that I also spend more mind than necessary.

I believe the type of pack used (or command if you are using the /tend commands) determines the base mind cost. That base cost it then reduced based up on how high your Willpower stat is. The higher the Willpower, the lower the mind cost to heal. The higher your Focus is, the faster you will regenerate the damage from that cost.

That's the opposite Zarlor.
Focus is for the cost and willpower for the regeneration
