Thread: Gotta question for Medics.....

Im workign on a specific template and i'm getting down to few skill points left....so,


What exactly does the "pharmacology" ladder give you. And what does it do exaclty?? Im looking for what i need to have a better increase per heal?? Instead of only healing 50-100 ham per heal, i wanna get up to 300-500...... see what im asking? So there are 2 questions here, 1- what does pharmacology do, and 2- what do i need to improve my healing percentage.

Pharmacology increases your medicine use skill modifier. The higher your medicine use, the more potent medicines you can use. There's a big gap between Stim-B's requiring 5 medicine use, and Stim-C's, which typically require 30+ medicine use.


The First Aid branch increases your Injury Treatment skill modifier. The higher your injury treatment, the more effective you are at applying medicines. So, for a given stim pack power, you will heal more with a higher injury treatment skill.


It sounds from your post that the First Aidbranch is what you seek. Of course, the two branches compliment each other.... at the top of both branches you can use potent medicines to great affect.

I'm going master doctor now, but before that the only medic skill I had was novice. Just find some nice stim b's and find a crate of those. Unless you want to be a medic or doctor or whatever, I don't honestly see the point in spending any sp's anywhere else.
