Thread: Droids and Tending Wounds Outside of Med Centers
Yes, you will be able to heal wounds outside a medical facility with that droid, as long as you keep it charged. You should invest in some batteries, which shouldn't be too hard to find. When your droid runs out of batteries, the next time you try to heal wounds you will get an error message stating that you need to be in a medical facility to perform that action. When you get that message, just recharge the droid and you'll be good to go again.
Of course, with the rating of 65, that means you will only heal for 65% of what you would normally be able to do in a medical facility. Yes, that means your wound healing will be decreased by 35%.
When you can afford it, I'd recommend getting a droid with a 110 rating (the highest you can get). This will give you a 10% boost to your normal maximum wound heals.
The only place where you will not be able to heal wounds is inside buildings that are not specifically designated as healng places (med centers, homes, PC buildings including hospitals, cantinas, and theaters). You will not, for example, be able to heal wounds inside a non-player city cantina or inside the starport (the indoors part - the outdoor center part is ok).
