resources change very 1-2 weeks, and are different between different servers.
I suggest going here: www.swgcraft.com and check what resources are currently available on your server.

You'll see in the crafting window for you stim that you want to make is that there is a premium placed on high overall quality of the resource as well as high potential energy.
I use either solid or liquid petrochemical fuel for the inorganic that has at least 800 quality and 800 potential energy.
Same for meat,,,just look for the OQ and the PE, the higher the better.
I've found that in gathering meat over the last couple of months that carnivore and wild meat is good. However, the resources change every couple of weeks so just look for high numbered stuff.

Actually, the correct way is to look at the schematic. It says you need OQ and PE for power and OQ and UT for charges. Find one resource, usually the organic, that has OQ and PE and one resource, usually the inorganic, that has OQ and UT. No resource has both PE and UT. Find the best qualities you can, and make the stim. You'll end up with the same or better power of stim but have more charges because you will be filling all of the required attributes on the schematic. As for meats, they're always changing. Also, try looking for flora to fill your general inorganics as flora is generally cheaper and easier to find in large quantities than meat. There's also over 100 different kinds of flora in the galaxy at any given time as opposed to about 50 kinds of meat, so your odds of finding a really good flora are better than finding a really good meat.

Enraged rancor meat is really good. I have 11k of it and it has an OQ of 964.
