Hi, I'm a creature handler/pistoleer/medic. I'm really only interested in healing myself and my pets at this time, I say this because I need advice on an aspect of my medic tree. I'm currently spec'd 3 3 3 4 in medic but I would like to open up some skill points for my pistoleer. Does someone know how my medic skills would be affected if I changed to 2 0 3 4. I know it's important to keep pharm at 3 so that I can experiment stimpack C's down to 30 so that I can use them. I'm also keeping FA at 2 so that I can treat bleeding. Any 'informed' input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

if your a combat profession you may want to dump org. chem (unless you do bio eng. stuff, but with that spec you couldn't get to far in it to do much anyways) you can always make some money doing missions to buy meds, and i currently buy them by the factory crate (20-50 at a time) for around 12-20k... not bad at all, and you get a better quality than you can probably make, and save alot of time and resource hunting... that's what i'd suggest at least... without diagnostics you'll heal a bit slower.. don't remember my delay when i was novice medic, but i remember loving the faster healing.... my 2 cents.

Dumping diag will make the stims take longer to heal. With master medic it is like 2 sec with no diag it is like 5 sec ... so no tmuch differeance if you are only healing yourself. I would ger first aid 4... will almost double what you get out of your stim c's.

its more like 10 secs without any dia and like 4 with master medic...
problem is that that 4 secs is faster than the lag of the game hence the numerous you must wait messages u get...
and self healing is always about 10s regardless of diagnostic level...

It will have an effect but it's probably the right move for you. There is good evidence that Diag doesn't affect your self-heal rate, so it would really only be slowing down your pet healing.
