Thread: Diagnostics Bugged?
Greetings,
I just got Diagnostics IV, and have been wondering: Is the Diagnostics line bugged? It speeds up my stimpack healing time on my pets from 5 seconds to 3 seconds, however, when I stimpack myself and try to do it again, the timer counts down as usual, but it tells me "You must wait before you can do this." for two seconds after the timer counts down.
So, am I misinterpreting the use of Diagnostics, or am I right to be concerned about it being buggy?
Thanks.
hmmm timers do need work on the messages they give...but what kind of message for self heal...if u try to heal before the diagnostic timer resets, you get u must wait xxx sec...
but after this at time has passed, healing urself gives u the You must wait message...
the only time i get u must wait message on heals on others is when im lagging...
the only wait you could improve this would be to put the amount u need to wait...like u need to wait 8 secs...
this woud definately be welcomed...esp since Dots are all screwed up and i get you much wait messages all the time until i can use another charge...
This also effects the ability: First Aid. While I can First Aid my pets every three seconds, I can only do it to myself once every five. I also believe that this bug not only effects self healing, but healing of other players as well, although I would have to login to confirm.
Either way, Diagnostics in its current form is worthless to me, I'm going to allocate the points elsewhere.
/firstaid is different timer i think from stims...
thinking about it i think its always 10s...
i get the u must wait msg a lot stopping bleeds on other..ill haveto test this out...
hmmm maybe its just that /firstaid gives me the u must wait rather than you must wait xx secs msg instead...
ill have to go test this out...im pretty sure firstaid on the self is 10 secs
Here is waht I have been seeing.
Stim someone else. Next action takes 3 seconds. with stadard countdown messages.
Stim self, Use a State pack, use /FirstAid. Next action takes about 6 seconds (I think, i haven't timed this) with countdown messages followed by lots of "You must wait" messages.
ALL of those situationsstart with the 3 second countdown message. The second set, however, all take the amount of time it would take someone with no Diag skills to do those things.
