Thread: Damage Stimpack
I was traveling overland across Talus when I was attacked by a CoreSec Traitor and a Deserter. After dispatching them, I looted the bodies and found a damage stimpack on the Traitor. For those not familiar with this particular piece of medical equipment, a damage stimpack comes with 5 charges, and heals 50 health, 50 action, and 50 mind.
Can someone give me a good reason why we can't make these? Has the science behind them been lost? Are they made by some alien civilization that only trades with NPC's?
If SOE could allow us to make damage stims, it would greatly improve our ability to be effective in the field. A damage stim will help an incapped player get up, regardless of why he's down, without restoring his mind to the point of nerfing riflemen for PvP. The "smelling salts" that some have asked for *is* the damamge stimpack.
So, what do I do with this stimpack? What situation is so dire as to call for it? Or, should I just put up a lighted pedestal in our PA hall to properly display this device that many see as vital to our profession? I thought the SWG experience was never going to be about uber rare loot--apparently, I was wrong.
