I have two characters. My scout/creature handler and now my medic.

As my Scout/CH I can use stimpack Bs since I have novice medic (and first aid II but I don't think that helps my skills). I was healing from 250 - 450 damage with a B on one of my pets.

Now my medic, who has First Aid II, Diagnostics II, Pharmachology III, and Organic Chemistry IV, was using Stimpack Bs he created and only healed for 100s and rarely 200s. What could be causing this?

I bought my stimpack Bs, and he created his. What should I be looking for/experimenting with when he is creating them?

Any help is appreciated.

Quite a few things. First, you want to experiment the effectiveness to get better heals per charge. Second, you want materials that have high OQ and PE for better initial quality, and third, if you can get the resources, the advanced components make a huge difference in the overall product.

I hope that helps

Thanks, this helped greatly. I never even knew about experimentation, until this post and I started trying it. Made a huge difference!

Yeah, basically its the overall build quality of the med, it can make the difference between a base 150 med pack, and a base 250 med pack.

To get to Novice doctor I grinded out 20-30 stim C's, and experimented on all of them, and they ranged from 120 - 300 base heal.

Could you guys explain a little more clearly the how and when I'll be able to experiment and also how to find and make the good seperate components?

Also, make sure your medic doesn't have his droid out! They're FUBAR right now and cause a reduction in ALL your heals.

You can experiment right out the box, you just need to be close to a food/chem crafting station. You will see a step (Step 3 I think) that you skip otherwise. from there it is pretty self explanatory. You can make the advanced components when you reach Chem 2 or 3 and they require specific resources (Water from Talus, Fiberplast from Tatooine, wild wheat from Lok, etc.) but even with low quality resources they make a HUGE difference. Hope that helps.
