Thread: So what do you guys think about the new survey/harvester nerfs?

Guess I am thinking outside of the box here then, but you COULD go to a planet that DOES have those missions and do 3 or 4 Round Trip Delivery Missions, offset your Planetary Spaceship costs and STILL come out 4k+ ahead all inaround 1 hours time.


Naboo is a great planet for FedEx Missions.

My real problem is that handsampling is STILL more efficient than a personal harvester, yet harvesters just got more expensive! Really, what the heck is that?

I don't understand the problem.


I'm going for Master Doctor (halfway through Doc tree right now), the whole profession takes up 140 points (77+63) leaving me with 110 for combat.


I'm taking for combat:


Novice Marskman (15), Carbine IV (14), Ranged Weapon Support IV (14) and the Master Carbineer profession (63) = 106


While I get to master carbineer I started out as an artisan and got surveying IV for starting, I will be dropping surveying as soon as I need my points.


I can definitely solo destroy missions and I can definitely afford my harvesters, I really don't see the problem for us medics.


Now I did see the problem with surveying being more efficient than a harvester, that was/is wrong plus it fills up the servers with tons of AFK players.


I'm glad of the changes to Surveying and hope more come soon.
