People, don't encourage Goohe. I encountered him multiple times in beta and all he will do is continue to give our profession a bad name. The secret to getting improvements in our professions is to work WITH those that need healing, not against them. If beta showed anything it was that when the fighting professions complain then changes get made, therefore we need them to know that the problem is the healing system, not medics! We need sympathy and support, not griefing and arrogance.

Medic is a service profession and while that means we should get paid for our services, it also means that we should not be rude and arrogant to our customers. If someone comes into the hospital demanding to be healed right that instant or saying they shouldn't have to pay, let the other customers deal with him. Keep your head above their level and you'll find the air you breathe is much cleaner.

Scorus

I spent a few hours in a Med center last night healing wounds as quickly as I could. During that time, I only recieved 100 credits as a tip from 1 person (he sent me tell asking to be healed, I agreed and it was done). Luckily I have a Artisan friend that set me up with a couple harvesters so its not a big deal to get tips or supplies. If it wasn't for that, I prolly rarely go to a Med Center to offer my services because I'd never have enough medicine to keep up.

that isnt exactly howit happened....

there where about 6-7 people who had been there over half an hour...i know because i was there for an hour already...many who where willing to pay...they where begging to get healed...but where just getting ignored... waltz in all snide and start demanding payment payment before you treat anyone...you dont even acknowledge that there may be a line and someone should be next...you where just concerned with you next buck and where blowing people off...

i told you i would pay you after i was treated and not before...then you got all snide with me...do you pay for car repairs when you drop your car off?... i have paid people up front in beta and had then run out of supplies and leave me half healed...or i find out they can onlyu heal my health and not my action

the thing is i had tons of cash and tons of resources on me...i would have glady paid someone what ever they wanted if i was getting any kind of service...but i wasnt...all that waiting patiently gets you is more time sitting in that dank building

i just think many of the medics i have encountered have a poor attitude....you are a service profession...you are there to service us...

i just hate the med centers...i am going to run around at 3% health rather than deal with you people agin
