Ok not feeling as bad about the changes but still:

I have cases and cases of Stim B's buff and wound packs.

Are these going to turn into useless legacy items or will they at least be morphed into sutibale useful stims/wound packs?

Will we still need the same subcomponents? and what will happen with the legacy items?

will it be like pre revamp chef food where it retains the usefullness?

And I think this is for the better of all classes.
I mean, as it is now its just way too much downtime because you need a buff to do participate in mid to high end pve and most certainly pvp.

buffs are way to high atm, so removing the need for buffs will be a huge improvement, buffs shouldnt be a necessity, but rather a nice bonus or a "lil extra" that helps you.

I think this effectively removes Medics from ALL combat. We are being turned into aPharmacist for the combat elite. We've been waiting for Stim-B's to be brought into balance, and now ANY combat jarhead can use these new stims to heal themselves. It looks like Medic and Doctor are not going to be real professions anymore.

I thought stims acted like a buffs? If that's true, it can't replace healing especially if it is limited to around +10%. But I can't be sure - it's all still quite unclear to me.

I can see how you were confused. The "Enhancers" mentioned in Blair's post are not buff packs. They are packs that enhance a medic/doc/cm's healing abilities.

Yeap, pretty much everything has been touched by the CU in some way or another, a lot of changes and after playing about a bit in the CUtestcenter, it's quite alot to get used to and readjust the way to think about the game

Okay, I don't know if the StimB's would be converted into the new versions, details on conversions been sketchy at best and the DEV's are busy the moement with other details, will see.
The subcomponents are identical to the ones used now, so they should make the transition without problems.
Wound packs however I believe would be obsolete when the change hits. Hold onto them for now, but I strongly suggest not to make vast quantities of high grade products in this field, afterall, still a while yet before the CU..
