Thread: The TEF issue.
Although you may not be firing the gun, or launching the attacks on the enemies of your faction, you are in fact enabling others to do so.
Faction alligned medics need to realise that when they heal overt members of they're faction... they are in fact participating in a form of combat. The "support" role.
You may not be the one dishing out the flamesingle2's... but you are in fact enabling someone else to do just that.

we're talking about when the overt is not fighting. imagine this scenario.... overt is not engaging in combat, he has no TEF, he walks into player med center and a covert player heals the overt. overt remains without a tef but the healer receives a tef. healer is booted, overt is not. there is a consistancy problem there. either give both the healer and the overt a tef upon healing, or dont give the healer a tef when the overt does not already have a tef. (remember that overts also receive tef's when they engage in faction war pvp). it would make sense to make tef carrying based upon tef status and not overt status, this would give medics tef's if they heal combat players who are in battle, and would not give medics tef's if the combat player is not in battle.
change TEF carry-over to be TEF-based instead of overt/covert based and the problem is solved.

We are trying to get word on what a better fix for the first problem is... or worst case, getting Specia lexemptions for hte boot, in public city buildings (rather then homes).
