In response to some of the posts on this thread, I do know what it feels like to be a medic in RL, because I am one. Let me tell ya, its a sweet life. I never worry about money, time off, or the danger (although I'm a fireman, too). BUT.......when your family, friends and other citizens are sound asleep in their beds at night, I'm awake taking care of drunks, druggies and other sickos out there. Remember that next time you don't tip your medic/doctor in SWG

However, I do want to thank the majority of players on Starsider who have seemingly 'stepped up' to the plate to increase tipping amounts in the hospitals. I am now actually able to travel to the other planets, buy better resources for better meds, and better weapons/armor for my hunting expiditions. I guess the better tips come hand in hand with better healing techniques as well. I surely make more now as a Doctor than I did as an inexperienced medic. WoW! Thanks....I actually got a 10k tip the other day for enhancing some stats.

Now that's what its about!!

Time my young medic, you will get faster as you gain in level.A good way to help gains is to heal the dancers in the cantinas with stims. Be sure you have lots of them as you will blow thru them like wild fire.

The amount of experience you get depends on how many points you heal for. Gaining in FA will make this value a little larger, but once you start using stim B's and Medpack B's you will gain a lot more experience. (Any novice medic can use either of these) So spend some time crafting to increase your O-Chem. You could also by some off the bazaar, or off another medic.

Jawa hit it on the nose. It's all about organic chemistry... get that sucker up to lvl 3 I think it is, so that you make both stimpack Bs and medpack Bs. They are costly, but they increased the rate at which I got medical xp by something like 4 to 5 times.

Yes, using stims cost mind power. When I am running around a cantina healing 6 or 7 dancers, my mind can drain away to almost nothing, and I need to sit down every once in a while.

I just added Medic to my diverse Character. I have never used any of the medic skills. One thing I notice is that when I use a Stim Pack A on myself, I remove a few points of Mind, and then it regenerates itself. Is this correct? I htought it would heal my wounds.

My Mind has no damage and I have no battle Fatigue when I do this.

Thanks

err..well a Stim Pack will not heal your wounds. It will heal damage to your health and action bars.

To heal wounds, you'll need a wound pack
