Thread: Public healing? A bad experience !!

lol worst expirience i've ever had on the game would be walking into theed med center (shadowfire) and asking a novice medic for wound heals. I currently had the title Master Combat Medic up, as I ussually do. This medic responded by saying "3k please". 3k to pay him to heal my wounds when i was just trying to be friendly and give him some xp? This was back when i was doc so i buffed him quickly and walked out of the center.

Have not experienced this... yet.
But when I see someone with wounds, I call my droid and heal him, and if he would reply in such an unpolite manner, I must say I would continue and don't care 
If he does not want to be healed, no problem with me, he can leave the place.
Perhaps no one shouted at me because I have a lovely charming female character ?

I will point out that while healing somebody who has been reserved for healing by somebody else is more or less fair game, if you buff a tumbler's quickness it is arguably griefing. It's not clear cut griefing, but if a person called a CSR on you,he or shewould be a plausible case.
I can't say I haven't been tempted to do this myself though...

Exactly. Thats what people like that deserve, it happens to me all the time, where it buggs me the most is when a TKM using Vibro Knucklers walks into Fort Tusken and then thinks he owns the place, he'll tell all the newbie brawlers to "leave them to me" i can't fathom why somebody would want to steal XP from unexperianced people just because you want to get some kicks. if you really want to hunt tuskens that badly go to one of the many scattered outposts and kill the King...or better yet, go find an Observer and get killed so they never come back.......oh sorry, we were talking about medic or something?

OK, i have done a personal warcry deal were i had my pet, me, and a dude warcrying so i could heal him. Somebody healed him full every time, i said "exscuse me, this is a personal deal. so if its not too much to ask, could you please go heal someone else?".
then the warcry'er said that it was ok... i actually paid for that!? but nevermind... i got 4 across the board in 3 days, so i am not complaining...

Lol, that happened to me once, the guy got rudeand said nasty things. So being the **edit** that I am, I kept on healing the guy untill they left. As a parting gift, I told them to go someplace private. I think they learned their lesson. Just gotta take it in stride, if the guy had been nice about it, I woulda left it all alone, and healed soemone else. So the end result, was that he got less XP than he wanted, and all because he was rude. Fecel matter occurs.

On my doctor character, I keep a Quickness buff pack on me at all times called, "Break Glass In Case of Jerk."

In my honost opinion as a medic on this subject is that whoever is in the main floor of the medical center is open to everyone that comes in there. If you want privacy take it somewhere private. If you send me hate tells and whatever they will be ignored quickly as I'm not gonna run around asking "Do you want to be healed?"If you don't want to be healed by me then walkaway as I do not go chasing afteranyone trying to heal them.
If you pay money for private tumblers or such don't do it in the major public area where all the medics and doctors and whoever may just come waltzing in and start joining the process.
I've got similar sayings from a couple of people and I would suggest sayint to them that if it's so private take it somewhere where it can be. Otherwise it's /addignore and continue what i was doing.

I always hate limping into a medical center and seeing two or three groups standing around healing the same guy. I thought that was what the top floor was for.
