Really? Too bad. Im a DE and I was kinda looking forward to this. I usually solo, which means zero heals and zero buffs, I was hoping I could get a droid to keep me up a bit in battle.

I was just about to post in the Tarquinas forums for a med with pharmacology IV!

WHAT WHERE THE DEVS SMOKEING WHEN THEY LIMITED THIS DROID TO STIM A!!!!!

Im a master doc and i can't even get it to heal me as fast as i can heal me.

Unless the droid builder didnt put it toghter well this droid is a complete waste of money, NO ONE USES STIM A's.

Stim A's if ur lucky will have 100 str and maybe 15 charges

Stim B's 300+ heal and 30+ charges is standard! for 5 med use....

This needs fixing ifyou want people to use this droid for anything other that furniture.

They were probably thinking they didn't want to take too much away from medics, but give non-medics SOMETHING.

Admittedly stim-As are pretty pathetic, especially if you're used to stim Cs and Doc-crafted stim Bs, or like me you're a CM and you're used to tossing area stims that get 1000 point heals on some in the healing radius.

Still, I can see how these will be of some utility to those who can't afford the 15 points for novice medic to get access to Bs.

what are your droids stats?

Ive seen some on TestCenter that can hold over 500 charges, and heal every 4-5 seconds. Thats really not all that bad compared to someone with JUST novice medic and an average stimB.

This was NOT intended to replace an upper level medic/Doc/CM.

I do think the capacity of the modules needs to be at least doubled.

4-5 sec a heal with a stim a is not worth it even for the novice medic when u need pharm iv to use this!

Any medic with pharm 4 is not going to be happy with stim a heals when they can use stim b's!

droid stats are sub par as i just wanted a cheapy to test it (its now furniture).

The fact that its stim A's makes the droid totaly useless. Pharm IV means u have at least 5 med use and that means b's which u can use at the same speed or faster than the droid and heal 3 times as much.

Medics with Pharm IV would not need this droid. However those of us that have medic/doc/CM friends but no medic skills ourselves will probably get alot more use out of it than the true medicos will.

medics with pharm iv deffinatly dont need it, and i doubt any group with one of these is going to be happy with being healed for 100 points.

the droid i have cant even keep me healed up when i survey, so what use is this going to be for a fight?

pharm iv requirements meansyou have 40 med use skill, If u have 40 med use what areyou still doing playing with stim A's?

and cosma1 areyou really going to be happy with getting healed for 100 points or less every 4-5 seconds and thats if the droid only heals you. As a Stim A isnt going to be healing much more than thats.

You only need PharmIV to LOAD the droid. Once it's loaded, it can be passed off to someone who doesn't have ANY medic skills whatsoever.

And you have to remember, there are other things coming down the pipeline. It may turn out that this Stim-A toting droid is actually a godsend for non-medics.

cohen.. maybe you'll get lucky and the next publish will have a droid with a toilet paper dispenser module and will wipe your own rear end for you.

get novice medic and heal yourself on macro while droid helps.. its a LITTLE help .. maybe the modules will be stackable quit complaining .

Well 100 points or less every 4-5 seconds more than I get healed when I solo now as it is. Before anyone says get novice medic and use Bs, I don't have the points for it.

If i did that roro the droid would be more usefull, maybe it could clean up your verbal diaorehea.

If you can manage to read the first post it says MASTER DOC! SoI all ready have better and can build the best stims with possible with materials on hand (oq 1000-990, pe 900+).

This is surposed to be a help to the medics, but really its just another way to let people not group medics.

At least they got the harvest droid right as long asyou get 80+ harvest on it

master doc here. I've been playing around with one of these droids, and personaly, Im dissapointed.

if it is a droid ment to be used in battle, why use this when you can get a "meat-shield" droid to take the heat for ya, and also dish out some damage along the way?

a serious question: how would you medics feel if it could use Bs?

would you feel like you were obsolete? what if you had one of these droids with you?

just some questions,

I'd love to hear from the medic population on this issue.

Just look at the droid.

How is this going to help a medic?

By the time a medic can load it with stims he can allready use stim c's or d's if he knows a doc

It wont make a market for medic crafted stim A's as Doc crafted stims A's will be better

Players without pharm 4 can now be healed outside of there combat queue without needing to have a medic/doc grouped.

Wheres the benifit for medics?

Stim B's would be better but should be limited so that the droid can only use stim b's if there owner has pharm IV. That would make a group with a medic in it seem to have 2 medics not one and give more incentive to groups to ask medics to group.
