I have enough skill points for either 44xx or x44x which should I get? I'm leaning towards x44x so I can use dizzy stims to help against creatures that dizzy but am unsure...

Thanks.

Medics can't use dizzy stims. The /healstate command is in novice doctor. My recommendation is also 4040 for the best healing ability.

if you have the points, 4040 is nice. (i use this)

next step down would be 2040

then 2030

then 2000

that is how i would go as i usually elder hunt and bleed alot

Why 4/0/4/0? That wasn't the answer I was expecting! I would have thought the ability to heal quicker would ahve been better! What are the best stims i can use if i have 4/0/4/0? And how much should i be able to heal by?

Thanks!

At 4040 you can use stim Es that are crafted at 40 med use. A good master doc can make these with over 1100 power. That gives you average heals of nearly 2000. It's better to do large heals less often than small heals more often, because every time you heal, you're using mind. This template also gives you quickheal for emergencies.

Check the necessary med use on them, as mentioned above you'll only have 40 medicine use at xx4x and a non experimented Stim E requires a med use skill of 47 iirc

Thanks for the reply. I have spoken to a few people who've managed to confuse me (not hard!) and I wanted to clarify it with the experts.

Now I have been told in the earlier posts that I can useE Stims with a Medical use of 40, but I have been told by others that by having reduced the medical use that they are less effective and that I would be better off with C Stims which would heal approx 800 pts. Now as the experts I hoped someone would be able tpo clarify this and confirm back to me whoich one is better.

Just to give you a picture of what I need it for, my Guild and I will be attempting DWB at the weekend and I normally use B Stims which are normally sufficient for when I need a quick heal while grinding but I have found that during the more tough battles I don't have time to wait to heal myself constantly and that one big heal would be better than several smaller ones....

The alternative to 40 med use Es is really Stim Ds, not Cs. A master doc (even one with only 10 points) can make 40 med use Stim Es that heal for more than Stim Ds. A 12 point master doc can get 40 med use Es that are over 1200 power.

Thanks! I'm not trying to be thick about this but as a non doc, I am getting confused by what other people have said to me about E's with 40 use not being worth using and to stick to D's...I might just buy one crate of each and test them all out!

No need to buy a crate of each. Just look at the stats. The higher the packs are rated for, the bigger the heals will be.

Personally Id like to see a picture of Stim Es that are 40mu AND 1000+ in power. Im having a difficult time believing that even a 12pt doc could pull that off.
