I am using the sitmp[acks mainly to help with downtime between fights. To me, it seems there is way to many resources needed for stimpack b and to much to craft compared to stim a. I was curious if all the crafting was really worth it, not counting on having to obtain all the resources since basically i am a fighter and ont a surveyor. Im curious about you r opinion on this matter on the difference between the simpacks and the usefullnes for a fighter.

Thanks

also, if you can buy stim b or c from somone, do you have to have novice medic to use the stimppacks?

Stimpack B is barely worth it, only because it heals more than Stimpack A. Its main advantage is that it only requires +5 Medicine Use, so anyone with novice medic can buy Stim B and use it.

Stim C is definitely worth it. Experimented C's can heal 850s and 900s which is a big step up from 350s. However, you need to advance significantly in Pharmacology or wear plenty of +skill enhancing devices to use Stim C, as it requires +32 medicine use standard (can experiment this down a bit, at the expense of healing power).

If you experiment and use good quality resources, i've been able to heal 1085 action/health, very useful.

Yesterday I healed for 666 action damage and 666 health damage with a Stim C.

I logged off.

That number is popping up alarmingly often in SWG I did 3 heals in one day for 666s, and then found a resource with 666 overall quality ...called Norape.

B's are definately worth it over A's in combat, but to boost your skills on, say, surveyors, just use A's IMHO.

B's are popular because they require no training in pharmacology, heal about 25-50% more than a's (depending on experimentation) and can have up to 25 charges (again depending on experimentation).

The downside with B's is they really use a LOT of resources. C's are much better as they use the same resources as B's, but you need pharmacology IV.

Reltated to Stimpack C's, I have reached the point where I can make the advanced components....bio controler, solid shell, liquid suspenion, etc. They require special ingredients to make like Talusian water vapor, Dantooine Berry, Lokian wild wheat.

My questions is would it be worth it to track all this stuff down and make a difference in my healing? I have had 2 replies in game, one said yes advanced components made a big difference another said no. Can I get some advice here? Thanks!

It can make a huge difference to use advanced components. Being worth it or not will depend on how important better medicines is. Some advanced components do not have ingrediants availible on our galaxy.

In general, an advanced component made with very poor ingrediants can be more powerful than a regular component made with the very best resources.

My only run with Advanced comnponents so far was with Advanced Bio Controllers. I got 38 charges out of a C stim with them but the pain getting that Lokean Wild Wheat was unbearable at the time.

I may try again soon though.

No darn edit button....

Advanced Bio controllers did NOTHING on D stims. There is a problem with factories that will ignore some aspects of components.
