title says it all .. really..
I've watch my missle lock on .. track my target as it comes to me head on .. i drop the front shields in 2-3 hits.. and watch my missle as i pass my target dip down under it turn 180 degrees and hit the rear shield ..
umm why?

The missiles in this game track stupidly well i've seen 1 do 2 loops and then come back and hit me on my aft shield when the NPC gets to the lvl where the missiles do damage it can get very annoying.

I should imagine that the missile passes behind the ship before it explodes, this happens in the air force today, by the time the missile senses to explode it has passed behind the ship it has targetted.

You see when a daddy missle loves a mummy spacecraft he has to go behind her and explode her shields and a new ship is born

Question: When it does this, will it often miss? I can only imagine using sluggish space bombs head on, only to have them pass by your target and not be able to turn quickly enough to actually hit it. Theres a few thousand down the drain! lol

nope still hits every time .. just for some unkown reason the missle decides it wants to pass under the target and hit the rear...
