It's correctly proportioned.

Although it's not a multipassanger ship in the game, it IS actually a ship large enough to get up and walk around in...there's not much space, but Fett had a small room with a bunk, a couple prison cells, an equipment locker, etc. in there. It's no fighter.

Exactly. Besides, when you DO compare a Kihraxz's 40k or so to a Y-Wing's 150k...Well, think of it like this:

The Kihraxz comes at, what? Tier 4?

The Y-Wing comes at Tier 1, and, on my server, can be purchased for 6k on the bazaar. Kihraxzs go for about 250k, and only have the advantage of maneuverability over my Y-Wing, if even that.

There was a thread back in beta on the forums - "Why do we have the Firespray?" The Rebel pilot figured it was useless, with half-decent mass and horrible turning. However, the Privateersthat posted on the thread all agreed that the Firespray was the best ship they had, due to mass of their other ships.

Basically, the Firespray is correctly proportioned, and it's supposed to be game-balancing.

Firesprays are pretty good sized ships.

Here is what I know Boba had in slave one from some of the books. ( Keep in mind, while he did modify his ship, its not like he was cutting bulkheads to make more room inside or something, all fett did was performance mods. )

In the Cockpit was a Pilots seat, as well as two other seats, i belive for passengers since the firespray can be manned by one person with 100% effectivness.

Cells for 6 bounties, standard issues, the Firespray was a prison ship after all

A cargo hold that can hold 40 Tons of cargo

A small room for himself

A small room for a passenger

A small room for a weapons and equipment locker

The KSE Firespray was a very very advanced ship ahead of its time. It was in the prototype stage around the time of Ep1, Six were made, Jango Fett got his hands on one ( I wont say how, but you can read up on Jango to find out, or play star wars bounty hunter ) and destoryed the other 5. It had huge engines, which made it fast, and for its size it handels very well. The Firespray isnt a fighter, more along the lines of a very specialized freighter really. So I think the size is just fine on it.

thanks for the input guys.

i have a firespray and i would say that it handles great for its mass and capabilities.so i have no complaints about that aspect.

if we are to assume that the firespray is correctly proportioned due to the fact that it is a ship that you can walk around in, then the devs should have made it multiperson ala the y-wing or tie aggressor imho. its like saying thatyou can get the benefits of driving a SUV like a Hummer or Range Rover and not be allowed to store things in it. so all you have left is a big slow car with a big engine. =P

what do you guys think? should the devs consider making the Firespray into a multiperson ship?

As long as two conditions are meet

1. You dont have to buy a new deed to get the inside of the ship

2. It stays controled by one pilot, as it was in the books, the other seats in the ship were really just passenger seats, with one copilot that had the same capabilities as the pilot ( so still, just one person could fly it ). If the firespray were to lose its ability to be operated by just one then freelancers would have no master ship that one person could use.

hmmmm to me the firespray that was shown in ep2 on the water planet wasnt really that big no it wasnt the size of a fighter but it was as big as the yt-1300. i had to go a look at that seen to double check and to me it was a medium sized ship. the blue prints everyone is talking about i have seen them and by proportion it would have been as big and the yt-1300. Maybe i am worg but do a double take on ep2

Do you guys think that the size of the Firespray is just way too big in relation to other ships? I am not talking about its huge arse but overall its just too big.

When I flew my firespray next to a YT-1300, its close in size. However, when you watch Empire Strikes Back and in the scene where Bobba Fett follows Han to Cloud City after the garbage dumb, the Firesprayappears to be much smaller.

This possibility would not surprise me since the other freelance ships are screwed up in proportion to other factioned ship IMHO. Compare a Khiraxz with 40k mass to an X-wing with 100k mass and you will notice they are the same size.

This isnt a game breaker but if some of the ships were resized more accurately and realistically, problems such as laser convergance would be less of an issue, at least for freelance ships. Furthermore, some of these ships would be harder to hit and would actually stand a chance in PvP.

What do you guys think of the Firespray's overall size (please refrain from talking about its big arse and huge profile)?

Thanks.
