I roleplay a neutral smuggler which means that depending on what I am doing in-game, I can go Rebel to complete Corvette rebel missions or Imperial to complete Imperial mission. I chop and changed sides during Act I, II and III for badges etc.
When I am done, I resign from the faction and back to neutral. Now with JTLS, I will be playing a similar double (sneaky)role - but Neutral pilot.
Does this mean that once I venture down the path of a neutral pilot, I will NOT be able to join rebel or imperial factions to complete upcoming factional related content?

You can be a neutral pilot in space and a rebel on the ground. You just can't take more than one pilot profession at any given time.

I am currently rebel in space and on the ground and I want to stop being a rebel and become neutral on the ground, but I do not want to lose all that I have done in the rebel space. Can you be a rebel pilot in space and neutral on the ground?
