I'm grinding Tier 4 and the most annoying part is that when the taunts from the enemy ships come up (after I hit them) the screen freezes for a second, then 'catches up' - so that my hard work at lining up my shots is for nothing. As I can get 2-4 taunts per ship this gets MAJORLY annoying and doubles the time it takes to kill the ship.

Please, is there any way to turn off the taunts?

Also, last night I was getting the same, or worse, lag everytime someone sent me a tell or spoke in group/guild chat while I was in space. Made me want to tell people to stop talking to me!

Anyone else experiencing the same, and how do I deal with it?

Sometimes I have similar problems. Never with tells, but with the pop up taunts and system messages for some unknown reason. Kinda annoying to have a 1 second freeze everytime you use a droid command or blast a NPC ship into oblivion.

It's odd though, doesn't happen all the time...
