Ok umm I am on my other computer with a guy who is letting me mess around with his style for an hour, problem is I changed his hair, and now I cant put the color back to what it was originally, it keeps resting to default. Anyone know of this bug or maybe the macro used to change hair color to blonde? Please respond hehe

Give him the lightest blonde color and then have him log out,,and completely time out,,when he returns it will be blond,,,the subject can see the correct color ,,but noone else can until he times out,,

Its a known bug thats never been fixed,

As long as he accepted it once you selected the color, it is blonde. The bug is only a "visual bug" meaning he actually does have blonde hair, we just can't see it properly. The guy you are working on, can see it as the color he selected, with no problem.

If he logs completely out of the server, and back in, it will show up as blonde to everyone else. So what I normally suggest to my customers, is to not worry about it, and when they log in the next day, it will be fixed.

Unfortunately logging out and in isn't working anymore. Now only the server reset seems to fix the bug, which happens every morning US time.

It still worked on me (I actually just tested it between my two characters a couple of days ago), the only problem is, I didn't actually time out of the server for a LONG time. I disappeared almost instantly, but my other character did not leave the group for almost 30 full minutes after I logged out. And that is what needs to happen for it to work.

I didn't know it was server based now. That's because my clients usually don't bother with relogging right away, so I never noticed. It's still a problem that would be a good one to fix. In combat it would be the same as getting a new gun, but not being able to see the lasers fire from it until you relog.

Yep, that "brown hair" bug is still there. I'm thinking of making a macro which explains it - so I don't have to retype the whole thing every time. Here's the current status:

1) going on the shuttle does NOT fix this hair color bug

2) server reset ALWAYS fixes the hair color bug

3) a really long relog fixes it too. I would say 20-30 minutes AFTER you disappear from the world.

Angel let's not open that can of worms in yet another thread.

One other thing I noticed. Somebody (maybe more than one) is abusing the star system. Every post I've seen of Rilawyns has been 'one-starred' regardless of the post. Rate a post on it's content and not the poster.

We had some griefer not so long ago go through the ID and Tailor boards one starring everything.....let's not stoop to griefer levels please.

Darth,

Patience...patience.

Scout XP isn't that tough to get - and you probably would do well to work your way up slowly so that you can learn the ropes.

It took me 11 days to get Master Scout when the game first started - granted, those were long hard days, but that's not too bad. And I soloed most of the time.

You'll do better if you find a good group, this is true. But it's also true that if you're patient, you'll also have a better chance at finding a good group.
