Hey all, having a few problems with my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. For some reason its VERY slow to pitch up, yaw right or roll right, but is totally responsive when pitching down, yawing left or rolling left. It also has an annoying tendancy to make little jumps to the right, and occasionally just keeps turning right even after Ive re-centered it or let it go.
I used the Logitech calibration software CD that came with the stick, and it simply checked whether or not it still moved, it didnt offer me any options to calibrate the stick myself. Its getting VERY annoying, as I keep losing a bead on targets and also find it very difficult to manuver if Im forced to move right or up to avoid an enemy ship.
Is it btotally borked? Or does anyone have any suggestions to fix it?

I use the same Joystick and I've only had one time where the the ship would constantly turn to the right. I exited the game and used the test program in the Logitech Profiler and noticed that when I moved the joystick the the right it the line on the indicator would stay to the right. I went to logitech.com and did a search on the support page. I found an article that fit my issue and the fix was to download the latest driver software. Also, they mentioned that unplugging and replugging also helps. I went into the control options for JTL and set my deadzone to a very low setting and increased the sensitivity setting to about 75%...my issue has not returned...just make sure you don't set thedeadzone too low or the ship will contantly turn and don't set it too high or your ship will be sluggish. I get good response from a dead zone setting of approx 10%.

I just got mine from Amazon.com today, installed it, and am having the same problem. Everything is very slow. Were you able to fix it?
I'm also having issues with the camera view. When I just had my mouse, my view would be from the rear all the time andmy ship would turn to the direction I pointed to with the mouse. I liked it that wa. Now, all my mouse does is allow me to look all around my ship. Anyone know how I can get the view to the rear of my ship and keep it there. I'm trying to configure this thing but I having tons of problems. Can anyone help?

You're not getting any responses because you haven't been specific enough ![]()
What do you mean "like a regular flightsim"?

I'm pretty sure you can reassign any axis you want... hit the keymap (Ctrl-O --> Kepmap, while in space) and bind the axis you want to roll.
