Who is Kyle Katarn?

Kyle Katarn is, in my opinion, the greatest EU character, but that's not what this thread is about.

Quick timeline (Thanks to Katarn07) :

27 BBY - Kyle Katarn is born.
09 BBY - Kyle joins the Imperial Academy on Carida: 18 years old
05 BBY - Kyle Katarn graduates, Morgan Katarn is murdered, Kyle leaves the Imperials and becomes a mercenary: 22 years old
00 DTY - Dark Forces begins: 27 years old
03 ABY - Dark Forces ends: 30 years old
01 ABE - Jedi Knight: 32 years old
06 ABE - Mysteries of the Sith: 37 years old
08 ABE - Jedi Outcast: 41 years old
(Not official timeline)

Katarn has starred in the games:

Dark Forces (1995) where hesteals the Death Star plans and saves the galaxy from the Dark Trooper Threat

Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II (1997) he finds out that Jerec killed his father, becomes a jedi, and saves the Valley Of The Jedi

Mysteries of the Sith: A JK expansion (1997) Kyle gets an apprentice, Mara Jade, and goes to a remote planet tochecka sith temple

Jedi Outcast: Jedi Knight II (2002) After giving up his lightsaber, he finds new uses of it when his best friend gets killed by a dark jedi

Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (2003) Katarn returns to the academy to teach students with Luke Skywalker. We play Kyles padawan

Katarn has starred in the books:

Dark Forces: Soldier For The Empire - Katarn finds out about the rebels not killing his father, and therefore escapes the Empire.

Dark Forces: Rebel Agent - Same story as the game Jedi Knight

Dark Forces: Jedi Knight - Same story as the game Jedi Knight

Kyle Katarn related characters in Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Devided:

Reelo Baruk (First appearance: Jedi Outcast, Nar Shaddaa)

Dark Trooper (First appearance: Dark Forces, Talay)

Mara Jade (First appearance: I know its a farstretch, but she did have a role in Mysteries of the Sith, you even got to play her!)

Swamp Troopers (First appearance: Jedi Outcast, they don't look the same but they were in JO)

The best part is, Katarn is now (In our timeline)working for the rebellion, but no one knows where, so you guys can place him as a mission hander, at some deserted rebel base!

Please add this character! He would now be a mercenary working for the rebels, and not a jedi!

try but id still like to see him ingame none the less.

i thought he was going to make it in on release but i think the only character we got from EU games was Nym. cant think of any others...

Mara Jade (First appearance: I know its a farstretch, but she did have a role in Mysteries of the Sith, you even got to play her!)

I may be way off on a limb here, but I thought her first appearance in the EU was in Timothy Zahn's novels.

I know - thats why i said it was a farstretch She had a role... it wasnt her first appearance...
Anyhow the Dark Troopers havent been in anything but DF, and Reelo hasnt been in anything but JO, so...

Even though some feels that Katarn is lame, I still think that he has been in five games and deserves a place here to...
