Ok, I have recieved four mails now about that Mara Jade wasn't first in Mots... I KNOW!
I wrote:
First appearance: I know its a farstretch, but she did have a role in Mysteries of the Sith, you even got to play her
I also meant first appearance in a Kyle Katarn game!!! OK?

Regardless of your feelings of certain characters, they are still offical parts of starwars, some people like some people dont.
I would like to see more Star Wars related content

Ok, so MANY things I have to point out:
Splinter of the Mind's Eye was the 1st EU. Zahn's books were just the first big sellers which made way for the ones after.
Kyle was working for the Rebellion as a freelance commando before ANH.
Bothans didn't really steal the plans, the Emporer allowed them to get the plans in order to lead the Rebellion into a trap (SOTE)
Dash was never really part of the Rebellion, he was a smuggler; he helped out at Hoth to save his own a$$, and then he was hired to bodyguard Luke. He evenually "dies" (or doesn't depending what you think) above Imperial Center, AKA Coruscant
To whoever said why add EU chars cause most won't know who they are, here's theEU contentI can remember coming across:
Corran Horn appears in Doaba Guerfel in front of one of the guild halls.
Talon Karrde is in the Doaba cantina, both give missions.
Unfortunately, Mara Jada only appears as a mission contact NPC, you can't talk to her otherwise.
Captain Thrawn (Grand Admiral in Zahn's books), Lord Hethirir (sp?, from Crystal Star)are part of the Imp Retreat.

Huff Darklighter
Wedge Antilles (tho he was in all 3 OT movies, most casual viewers wouldn't know who he is, or his importance)
Half the planets in this game: Rori, Lok, Talus, Dathomir, Dantooine... all EU (yes I know Dant was menioned in ANH, but you don't see it)
Ships: Z95, Lady Luck
Creatures/Species/Groups/Factions: Nightsisters, Valerian, CorSec, all the lil Dant natives, Black Sun, Selonians, Drall, Verpine, Krayts (tho I suppose a skeleton does appear in ANH), slice hounds
Point being: someone who hasn't read any of the EU sources, presumably wouldn't know any of this was EU, so why exclude additional EU content?

I know... I never sayed they were the first EU books ever. I sayed they were Kyle Katarn EU books.

Yes, he stole the Death Star plans before ANH. but even before doing so, he was an imperial.

What do you mean? I have no anger towards Mara. I think she rocks. I dont like that people mail me to tell me that the kyle katarn books werent the first EU books... ! I KNOW THAT!
Or that "Mara Jade wasn't first in Mots" I KNOW THAT!
