Thread: Register my free disk for Flash Speeder or Retail?

I just recieved my beta disk (No wonder on the day beta closes) and was wondering if i should register this CD or wait for my retail copy.

You can do it now. You'll need to register your retail key also.
There are instructions on where to register your pre-order key inside the jewel case - follow those instructions (if they still work) to bind the speeder to your account. It will show up after you register the retail copy.
If you can't complete the instructions in the jewel case, i'm sure there will be a dev post on how to claim the speeder for those that have not registered teh pre-order CD yet.

Good question as that is the only way to identify that you were a preorder account as far as I know and therefore authorized the flash speeder. The thing is that if you wait for the retail one, it will be a seperate key and I am not so certain that there will be a way to distinguish which would be the preordered boxes. In other words they will more than likely be generic ones with your beta key flagging your account. I think I saw they are making a post about this later to explain what will happen to all of the ones who had mixups with their preorder, so keep an eye out for that.

Yeah, they are right, I would try registering anyways as that might flag your account if the registration site is still available.
