You had to order through Electronics Boutique or Gamestop and you had to ask for the pre-order box with the beta CD in it.
Umm, Where exactly was ALL THAT STATED? I recieved the routine SWGnewsletter on the 22nd., myself, saw the very same offer listed within, and decided to go ahead and order (the SAME DAY), since it seemed to be a good time to do so, anyways, and the speeder offer was a plus.
First was to click the links in the newsletter itself about the preorder. which then went to one of the SOE/Lucas pages. On it was the same offer, and an additional message simply stating that the pre-order offer was not available thru the Lucas Co. Store, and that orders had to be placed thru one of the 2 listed places at the bottom on the page, which contained links to both EB Games, and Game Stop.
Having been more familiar with EB (Usually bought games from local stores in hte past), I clicked to their site, and it went right to the JTL order page. On the page was just standard ordering into, NOTHING about having to indicate any kind of "seperate" or "special" selection/order, nothing about specifiying any "special pre-order box", Etc.. In Fact, there was only ONE Type JTL order selection, PERIOD. Nothing in the newsletter. Nothing at the company page other then to say you simply had to order thru EB Games or GameStop., Nothing at EB Games. Think I even checked Game Stop, anddidn't see anything different there, either, for that matter.
To make matters worse, the last Email from EB about the order as it was shipped has it showing in the subject as being the Pre-Order version, too, allthough it was NOTthe version thatactually arrived, late this morning...
If it indicates it was the pre-order version, even if you don't get the beta/pre-order disk you may still be in luck in terms of getting your flash speeder. European customers who pre-ordered weren't supposed to get the beta disk and are still supposed to get the pre-order cd-key via email in order to activate their flash speeder bonus. Hopefully EB will do the same for you and email you a pre-order key for your speeder even if it is impractical for them to send you a beta disk for beta which already ended.

Same here, exact same story for me but with Gamestop.
