If someone has a beefier hosting service, I'd be much obliged.

MS only distributes this now via snail mail, but it's the only way to get any of their devices functioning correctly/fully in Win2k/XP.

Link is here (scanned and clean - NAV2005).

If my ISP sends me a hate mail, I'll have to take it down.

SOE should ask Microsoft if THEY can host the file based on how many people have Sidewinder products.

Forceupdate.zip, to my knowledge, was a patch released a week or so after the stick was that corrected issues with the USB controller on some early Socket A boards with VIA chipsets. More than likely you won't need to install it, but there probably won't be any harm done if you do.
