I ALWAYS have to re-display my cockpit view.

Those are the windows I keep open... so I close out all the windows and rejoin them all?

I had this happening too. The thing I found to fix it probably won't work for you.
Whenever I quit I used the /quit command.
Then when I logged on my ground UI windows would be all messed up, and the same when I came from space to ground.
So instead of using /quit I use the regular /sit /logout, or the shift+esc quit option.
Its a big pain. Make sure you bug it and you can ever make a ticket about it if you want. Not that they'd really be able to come up with an answer, but then you know someone heard the problem right?

Is there a way I can prevent my user interface from being reset EACH AND EVERY time I go into space and reload SWG?
If I go into space garunteed the next time I log in my UI is reset. I keep track of 5 different chat boxes at once and it is a MAJOR pain to reset them each time I want to go into space.
This is a major issue in my opinion and it is why I have yet to buy JTLS for my other two accounts.
Is there a way I can prevent this? Because it really upsets me.
If I go into space garunteed the next time I log in my UI is reset. I keep track of 5 different chat boxes at once and it is a MAJOR pain to reset them each time I want to go into space.

Isn't there an option to lock chat windows or something in options? The only thing that keeps resetting for me is the location of my missile/countermeasure ammo window.

Not ingame so can't see that menu, sorry. It might even have been a rightclick option on each chat tab.
The only other annomoly I notice is that sometimes when I move/modify/add a window to one character, when I go to play another server I will have x amount of new and blank windows relative to the number of changes I made on the other character now showing on the character that received no changes. Not that big of a deal as I just delete them, but an odd bug I have seen on the ground for a long time and now see in space too.

I've done that 3 times now.
Each time my UI is still reset.
Any other hints?
