Is anyone else having a problem with the un-programmed chips not being able toready to your data pad? I just have had this problem in the last week or so and I know 2 other people with two different accounts who have the same problem, I personally tried to reinstall SWG but still no luck. I can program the chip but when I get ready to ready it to my data pad I can't do it andI have the same un-programmed chips that I bought 3 weeks ago and they worked then but now they don't. Is anyone else having the same problem?

The unprogrammed droid chips are now obsolete. To program a droid you must go to you datapad, right click on the droid and select Program droid or something along that line. It will bring up a menu where you can program a droid. The chips I'm pretty sure are not used anymore.

Thanks. I know about the astro droid thing but astro droids are only a reb pilot and I am a freelancer pilot and I can't ready them for my flight computer and I can't use them at all.

Since I am a Rebel pilot, I use astromechs, so I can't really help you much. But would you program the flight computer in much the same way?

Unless they changed it and I didn't see it no,you programthe flight computer with unprogrammed chips. I hope they didn't change it because now pilots wont have acess to the other pilots special programs and that would really suck. As it is (or was if they changed it) any faction pilot could trade chips to any of the other pilot factions.

Yeah, go to your datapad, right-click your flight computer and selected "Program Droid". Any commands that you know you can program directly into the flight computer without the unprogrammed chips. Now, if you want to get specials from someone who is not part of the same faction as you are, you can trade unprogrammed chips. If you have them program one of their specials onto an unprogrammed chip, when you have it in your inventory it will show up when you select "Program Droid". This way you can transfer other people's astromech specials so that you can use them yourself.
